Hi, I'm Kelly Vernon. I've worked as a professional artist/Art Director for over 30 years.  

Since this is supposed to be an about me page, I'll give some more history and background; I grew up in Utah and studied art at the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, and Utah State University, focusing on Illustration, Graphic Design and Advertising Design. I studied with some great masters in the industry, including:  James C. Christensen, Glen Edwards and Harrison Groutage.

I ended up working in advertising managing a wide range of national and regional accounts for agencies including, the Ogilvy Group and Publicis Advertising, the 2nd largest agency in the world. In advertising, I work on exciting accounts like: DynaStar Skis out of Germany, Curves out of Dallas, BMW, ClubMed, T-Mobile and Safeco Insurance, winning hundreds of awards for my work.

I loved my carrier in advertising but at the same time I continued to develop and growing my love of painting and drawing by producing several professional portraits and drawings for numerous friends and commission customers.

I've loved my carrier but my passion has always been painting, so in I've now committed myself to full-time painting. I hope you will love my work as much as I love producing it.
